Something exciting is about to begin! Are you ready to join in the fun?
It’s the 100 Acts of Kindness Project!
Each year Toddler Approved hosts the 100 Acts of Kindness Project, inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and this year I am so excited to be her co-host!
Our goal is to do small and simple acts of kindness in our homes, neighborhoods, communities that help teach our kids that no act of kindness is too small. Everyone can be kind. Everyone can make a difference.
We’d LOVE to have you join us by pledging to do 100 acts of kindness during our 26 day challenge!
If you think 100 acts of kindness sounds overwhelming , don’t worry! We will be there to support you every step of the way.
100 Acts of Kindness Challenge details:
- The challenge starts on Monday, January 20th (Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which is a holiday in the US)
- The challenge ends with a giant kindness celebration on Friday, February 14th (Valentine’s Day!)
- You’ll get a kindness challenge each week along with other fun suggested kindness themed crafts and activities. You can find some of the previous posts (and other great kindness resources) on our 100 Acts of Kindness pinterest board.
- Activities will be toddler and preschooler appropriate, though many can be adapted for kids of all ages.
Don’t forget to sign up for our 100 Acts of Kindness Newsletter to get the weekly challenges and other cool resources!
Make sure to check out all of the 100 Acts of Kindness posts Toddler Approved has shared in the past and start thinking about what your family, class or youth group will do to celebrate your acts of kindness.
The first 100 Acts of Kindness newsletter will be sent out this weekend, so don’t forget to sign up! If you’re joining in this year I’d love for you to comment and let us know too!

I was going to make a left turn and waiting for someone to make a right turn (I could have made it before them). My 4 year old son told me I was nice to let the other car go first

Very cool! I wrote a list of random things we could do to brighten anyone’s mood a few weeks ago, and it’s really the little things that could make such a big impact on both giver and receiver.
So true Nina! I hope you join in and share some of the things you do!
Love random acts of kindness!! My son is in PK3 and loves to wear his class t-shirt every Friday, “Take Time to be Kind.” So, I know he will love doing this with me.
Awwww! What a great shirt! I bet he is going to have so much fun with the 100 Acts of Kindness!
I’ve compiled a list with 100 ideas if you want to check it out;

I have just seen this shared over on Facebook and followed the link through. I have been building a list for 30 things for my 30th birthday and have decided to put a twist on this with 30 acts of kindness in my 30th year… Thank you for the inspiration. I will be blogging, instagramming and tweeting about this, so I hope you don’t mind me sharing the links on your page. M x
Yay! What a great idea!!!
I need ideas for my service learning project.
