School Lunch Packing for Busy Days

This year we have been focusing on teaching our kids how to pack healthy school lunches. They have been going a great job, but some nights are BUSY and there just isn’t enough time. When homework and activities are longer than normal we need something fast and easy.

That’s why I was so excited to hear about and partner with HALF TIME™–organic and natural grab and go lunches are perfect for the kids to “pack” on busy nights!

School Lunch Packing for BUSY Days!

Easy School Lunch Ideas

Regular readers (you rock!) know that I like to keep things fun and easy. One of the keys to getting the kids to pack their own lunches is to have things ready in the refrigerator and cupboard. We semi-prep the components to make packing go smoothly and HALF TIME™ lunch kits help make that even easier on everyone.

Lunch Box Notes

My kids love to make lunch box notes for each other. They started doing it for my oldest when she went to preschool and have kept it up ever since. It is so sweet.

Instead of telling them that we’re too busy for them to write notes to each other I keep a pile of extra notes in the kitchen! It helps to keep our routine from backfiring on us and gives them something to do on a day when we have extra time.

If you are the lunch box note writer in your family a great way to cut down on time on a busy morning or night is to download our PRINTABLE SCHOOL LUNCH BOX TAGS.

I have a bunch of free printable lunch box notes pinned to my #LunchingAwesome Pinterest board that you can print now and save for a day when you are in a rush!

The HALF TIME™ lunch kits are filled with natural and organic brands you know–Applegate, Annie’s and Stonyfield. HALF TIME™ sent us a product kit with each of the varieties (turkey & cheese, ham & cheese, and bologna & cheese) and some fun activities. We got a reusable lunch bag with markers that the kids could decorate, an activity book and a coupon to buy more.

Guess what? At the end of the post you’ll have a chance to enter to win your own HALF TIME™ kit too!

The kids were excited to pack them for lunch and came home saying how much they loved them so, of course, we had to buy more! I think the turkey lunch kit is the family favorite. In addition to school lunch we’ve decided that HALF TIME™ lunch kits would be perfect for traveling as well.

For more ideas, information, recipes and coupons make sure to visit their website. This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Applegate via Burst Media. The opinions and text are all mine.

I’m not sure which we would like best. We have never tried Half Time Lunch Kits, but I love that they are organic.

They would like all of them, but the turkey and cheese would probably be their first choice.
