10 Ways to Make a Difference This Spring

Spring is here! It’s the perfect time to go outside with your kids and spread some kindness.  Here are some fun and easy ways to make a difference this spring.

10 Fun and Easy Acts of Kindness for Kids!

Spring Acts of Kindness for Kids:

  1. Feed the birds.  You can make your own bird treats or just grab a bird feeder and fill it with seed.
  2. Give a flower to someone in the community you see every day.
  3. Leave sidewalk chalk messages at the park or in your neighborhood.  You could even use glow in the dark chalk!
  4. Plant a tree. If you don’t have space to plant one at your house there are many organizations that you can give to that will plant one for you.  Do a search to find one near you.
  5. Do yard work for a neighbor.  This is a fun one to do as a secret act of kindness.
  6. Send a sunshine to faraway family members–these cheery notes are sure to make them smile.
  7. Leave kindness eggs at the park.  Such a fun way to use up your extra plastic Easter eggs.
  8. Grow fruits and veggies and donate extras to the food pantry.  You could also donate little pots of herbs that families can use all year long.
  9. Pay the toll for the person behind you.  Spring is full of reasons to travel.  Make someone else’s road trip more fun by paying for their toll.
  10. Bury treasure at the playground for kids to find.  So much fun for the kids that bury it and the kids that find it!

I got you started with ten, but there are TONS of acts of kindness that would be perfect for spring.  Please, share any you do on my Facebook page!

There are also lots of fun ways to make a difference on my Acts of Kindness for Kids {and You!} Pinterest board.
